Terms Of Sale
Registration Requirement:
A valid credit card is required for online registeration only. We DO NOT process credit cards for payment. After registering and receiving a buyers number, you are now ready to participate in the auction.
No Guarantees
All sales are As Is Where Is with no guarantees of any kind, regardless of statement of condition made from the auction block. Buyers shall rely entirely on their own inspection and information. We encourage everyone to come view & inspect all items prior to the event.
Titles
Titles will not be made available to the purchaser on the day of the sale. The title will be mailed to the purchaser within 30 business days after the settlement. There are no titles available for items that are marked 'No Title' or 'NT'.
Pick Up
After equipment is purchased on the auction, it is the buyers responsibility to pick up items within 10 days after the auction day, unless arrangements have been made with management. KAC is not responsible for any items left. Once an item is won it is the responsiblity of the bidder.
Sales Tax
All sales will be subject to South Carolina tax laws. (Misc. Items 8%, Construction 5%
SCATE cards and other tax exempt documents MUST be presented when purchasing items, otherwise tax will be applied.
Bidding
In the event of a tie bid, the auctioneer reserves the right to re-open the bidding between those two bidders. The auctioneer reserves the right to accept bids in any increment he feels is in best interest to the client of his seller. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject the bidding of any person whose conduct, actions, or adverse comments he feels are not in the best interest of the seller.
ALL SPECTATORS AT THE AUCTION SITE ARE THERE AT THEIR OWN RISK! It is known that an auction site is potentially dangerous due to the operation of heavy equipment. Regardless of any cause, Kingstree Auction Company will not be held responsible for any injury to anyone at the auction site.
Risk of Loss
Every effort is made to guard merchandise throughout the auction; however, the bidder becomes solely responsible for all items purchased immediately following his winning bid. Therefore, he is advised to further guard his items at his own discretion.
